Author to Hold Anti-bullying Workshop

Author to Hold Anti-bullying Workshop

Anti-bullying activist and bestselling author Jodee Blanco will give a free seminar open to the public, sponsored by Burlington Central Community School District 301, on September 27, 2010. The event will be held at 7:00 in the Central High School auditorium located at 44w625 Plato Road, Burlington, IL 60103. Burlington Central School District is extending this offer to all area school districts, communities and families.

The workshop will be an extension of Ms. Blanco’s program It’s NOT Just Joking Around, an anti-bullying program based on her personal story as the target of bullying. Her presentation will include advice for parents on how to intervene if their child is a target, bully, or bystander. We are grateful to Burlington Central School District for extending this generous invitation, and we urge those in our Kaneland community to take advantage of this great opportunity!
