Budget cuts should not define Kaneland and its culture

2.6 million dollars. That much money could buy John Travolta's house in Florida, which comes complete with a private runway and a garage with enough room for 16 cars. That much money could buy 8,666 brand-new 32GB iPod Touches, or 43,333 brand-new pairs of sneakers. It could pay for the college tuition of 86 students attending the average four-year private university. It's also the amount of money the Kaneland school district needs to stay out of debt. Unfortunately, it's the amount of money the district doesn't have.
